We’re delighted to announce that one of our advisory board members, Richard Rusczyk, has been awarded the 2014 Paul Erdös Award. This prestigious award recognizes “mathematicians who have contributed to mathematics enrichment in their own countries or internationally.”
Rusczyk founded the math education website Art of Problem Solving in 2003. Today, Art of Problem Solving is one of the largest online mathematics communities in the world. According to the World Federation of National Mathematics Competitions, “Richard Rusczyk has redefined how talented students interact with one another and how connected the math contest community is.”
